Michael Jackman Detroit Bureau Chief MJ has not studied creative writing at the prestigious University of Iowa, nor has he ever been graduated from even a vocational school. He has not won any literary awards or grants. He has not spent a year-long stint as editor-at-large for Esquire. He hasn't even been to Paris. He has been writing for and publishing zines for over 15 years. Since 1995 he's been publishing Inspector 18, and he was news editor for Zine World for many years.
