other: i play the accordion - and piano, guitar, bass guitar,

i have tattoos. i smoke and drink, but in moderation, not
over-the-top like i used to. yes, i've had my bouts with serious
drug addiction and alcoholism, but i'm past that and i no longer
think it's fun to romanticize being a junkie or drinking myself to
death. it's really just sad and pathetic. i relate to sally
bowles and amanda from the dresden dolls. i speak french and a
little german. i at least know enough of both languages to write
song lyrics in. i no longer identify myself by my mentalemotional
disorders - they're part of me, but nothing to define myself by. i
like to cook and travel and i write because if i didn't, i would
die...secretly, i still dream of someday writing a column for
maximum rock'n'roll. i drink a lot of coffee. i am obsessed with
circuses and carnivals and this fall i am going to start a street
carnival troupe in milwaukee.
